TV Hot Spot: DanceLife

DanceLife 1x02

Post by: Nas

Hi everyone! I am Nas, your recurring TV Hot Spot Host. Sal is a bit busy today so I guess I am the one posting up this review. I took time to catch up as I didn't watch the first episode, but now that I have watched both episodes I am ready to move on with the review. Most of MTV's series catch my eye mainly because they are simple 20 minute shows that are usually fun to watch. "The Hills", and now "DanceLife". So with the launch of this new series MTV has already seen an uplift and support for the show. Fans from all over the world have now become involved in this series and has actually turned out as another one of MTV's hits. This episode worked around the Jennifer Lopez audition, some of the dancers personal lives AND a Mary J. Blige audition which featured one of the dancers! Now for a detailed analysis of the dancers! (I read Sal's previous review so I am going to try and add on to that!)

Nolan: Now this guy is damn serious in what he does, he doesn't have a choice. Dancing is not an option, its a must in order for this guy to survive and pay his bills. In this episode he gets an eviction notice and he has to book a job before his month ends otherwise he is kicked out! So in order to spark up some extra cash he tries to audition more, Mary J. Blige's audition, but sadly he didn't get it. I really hope things turn around for this guy, he deserves the job. When I saw him dancing in the audition I knew he had talent, he's got it!

Jersey: Now this girl missed the audition last week, but managed to come in again this week for a general dance rehearsal. After seeing her moves, I was amazed. I wonder what would have happened to this Italian girl if she made it to JLo's audition! She has now become close friends with Staci and Celestina. Obviously because of the series, but its good to see how dancers act OFF the dancefloor.

Kenny: This episode was rough for this dancer. First of all, he dislikes Blake mainly because he is intimidated by him. So in this episode he promises Blake that he would feature in his DVD release party as one of the dancers, but he had to pull out when he heard that JLo's auditions start on the same day. The guy was being honest though, I mean it is JLO! Who would pass that!? He needs more recognition...That didn't go well with Blake though...

Blake: Sal posted in the previous review that this guy annoys him. He doesn't annoy me though. I think the reason is because in the second episode you actually see who Blake really is. Just an average dancer trying to make his way into the world. In this episode Blake has a DVD release party and the stress does get to him. But he holds it all in and with a few near misses he managed to pull of a great party. Wonder what he thinks of Kenny now?

Celestina: Nothing much was shown off in this girl. She is excellent and her moves are hot. But nothing was really seen. I also agree with Sal, she does bring in the humour! (lol)

Staci: Again another dancer that we didn't get to see in this episode. Well not much of her. Interesting moves in the first episode, and like some of the others needs a booking!!!

Yo Six Dancers done! Hot Hot Hot HOT Moves! Wish I could dance like that (lol). But I dont think anyone would be dissing a Dancer's Life again after watching this!

Take Care Guys!
