Justin Hartley, who played The Green Arrow on "Smallville," will trade his green hoodie for a set of scrubs.

The 31-year-old actor will star in the drama pilot "Austin Golden Hour" for The CW, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The medical drama, from " American Idol" creator Simon Fuller, is a real-time hourling that follows a team of emergency room surgeons and EMTs in the critical 60 minutes following a trauma.

In other CW pilot casting news, Joanna Garcia has landed the lead for the network's drama "How to Teach Filthy Rich Girls."

The show centers on the adventures of a young, Yale-educated woman (Garcia) who is hired to tutor two Palm Beach heiresses, played by the newly cast Lucy Hale ("Bionic Woman") and Ashley Newbrough. It was recently announced that Michael Cassidy will play the woman's boyfriend.

Hartley is best known for playing "Smallville's" tycoon Oliver Queen, who moonlights as crimefighter Green Arrow. He next appears in the upcoming feature comedy "Spring Breakdown."

Garcia, 28, is probably most recognizable as daughter Cheyenne Hart-Montgomery on "Reba." She last appeared on CBS' "Welcome to the Captain." Her big-screen credits include "American Pie 2," "Not Another Teen Movie" and the upcoming "Extreme Movie."

Take care,

Sal
