TV Hot Spot: Heroes

Heroes Episode 8: Seven Minutes To Midnight

Review by: Sal

Hey everyone. This is your Hot Spot TV Host. Or Sal, as you can call me, and I am about to post my first blog entry about the latest episode of Heroes. It is Episode 8, or in other words 'Seven Minutes to Midnight'. But before I will go on with the review I would like to post up the latest ratings for this show, and it received an outstanding 8.8/13. And if most of you are asking, what that means, it means that the show did receive around 12.3 million viewers, which is actually a good thing. Heroes has manages to sustain and keep a stable amount of viewers week-by-week.

Ok so now to the review. Mohinder has gone back to India to scatter his fathers ashes, and while he is there he somehow gets to go back in time and see a conversation which he hasnt witness as well as his father's death. Obviously the show writers are making it as a dream, but who is that boy (girl) that he keeps seeing. Could it be that the 'special' child his father had was not Mohinder's sister and maybe Mohinder himself. Could he be one of the Heroes?

We also get introduced to a new hero. The waitress at the diner. She seems to have a power of remembering everything she reads. Which is actually a good power to use if your going for an exam (lol) but it was also interesting to see them bring someone new into the cast. The fact that Hiro actually went back in time to save her life, was very interesting. I wonder where he is now? He told his friend that he would be back in 5 seconds, and yet he doesnt and in the end we see him in the picture with the waitress on her birthday. Meaning he did meet her, but we dont know exactly how he met her and how far back he travelled?

The 'Radiation' guy was also a cool character. It was good to see him and the police officer created a connection. What I wonder, and what the cast at Heroescast have also wondered was how the 'Radiation' guy is supposed to be a hero? Giving off radiation and being able to blow things up seems pretty 'evil' to me. Dont you think? Anyway, in the end, we see that he has escaped from Homeland security. And I wonder where they will lead him on to the future. Could he be the one who blows up New York. We all know he is capable of it!

And finally, another thing which I was happy to find out was that the 'Evil Dad' and Eden (some people nickname her Pixie girl) may be on the side of good, and not evil after all. We see them with Isaac, and the 'Evil Dad' says that he wants to help them. And that being able to paint the future is special. Maybe they are helping the Heroes, collecting them and maybe will use them in the future. Maybe they are the ones who want to save the world too...But thats not all. Apparently Eden also has super powers. The 'Evil Dad' clearly tells her that she is the easier way to persuade Isaac to take the Heroin and paint the future. Maybe she has the power of suggestion?

Anyway! That is all for now...I believe that I have done my part. Please leave some comments if you may. I would love to hear more from you guys, maybe suggestions you have of what might happen in the future.

This is your Hot Spot TV Host. Commenting on the latest episode of Heroes (episode 8).

Take care
