Ashley Jensen put some time off from "Ugly Betty" to good use last week: She got married.
The Scottish-born actress, who also stars in "Extras," and her long-time boyfriend, Terence Beesley, eloped to Big Sur on the Central California coast and exchanged vows last Monday. They've been together for seven years.
"It was in a forest," Jensen tells People, adding that the ceremony was "beautiful" and "brilliant." "It was about our marriage. We didn't want to be worried about napkins, you know? It was about us."
Jensen says she had a few days off from the "Betty" set last week, so she and Beesley drove up the coast and tied the knot (their dog, Barney, served as ring bearer). She was back on set late last week and joined her castmates at Sunday's Screen Actors Guild Awards.
In addition to "Ugly Betty," where she plays Christine, Mode seamstress and confidant to Betty (America Ferrera), Jensen plays the hapless background actor Maggie on "Extras." The show is currently midway through its second (and most likely final) season on HBO.
Beesley is also an actor; he counts appearances on a number of British series, including "Poirot," "Casualty" and "Midsomer Murders," to his credit.

I'd read in a magazine over the summer that she'd more than likely get eloped, so it's haedly suprising that she did. So congratulations to her and her new husband :)
