House to follow Super Bowl

Post by: Sal

Juicy post-pigskin slot goes to Hugh Laurie's wacky medical methods.

Foam-fingered football fans still awake and sober enough to watch television after next year's Super Bowl will get a free trip to see Doctor Gregory House, courtesy of Fox.

The network's popular drama House has landed the slot following the Super Bowl, one of the most viewed broadcasts in the world, reports Reuters. The game will air on Fox on February 3, 2008, and take place in Glendale, Arizona, at The University of Phoenix Stadium, home to the Arizona Cardinals.

House is no stranger to taking advantage of optimal time slots. The show currently airs Tuesday nights, right behind American Idol. As a result, House has consistently been a ratings juggernaut. The drama is currently winding down its third season, and the series finale will air on May 29.

Take Care,

Sal
