'Napoleon Dynamite' Star Is a Dad

"Napoleon Dynamite" star Jon Heder now has someone to inherit his dancing and nunchuck skills, gosh.

The actor and his wife Kirsten recently welcomed their first child, reports People. The baby's exact date of birth was not released.

Heder's rep says that the baby girl, Evan Jane Heder, is "safe and sound and healthy."

Heder, 29, and Kirsten first met at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. They are of the Mormon faith. Last September, they announced they were expecting their first child.

Heder is the breakout star of 2004's "Napoleon Dynamite" about an awkward yet curiously confident teenager. He's also appeared in "Just Like Heaven," "The Benchwarmers," "Monster House," "School for Scoundrels" and "Blades of Glory." He can next be heard as the character Chicken Joe in the upcoming animated film "Surf's Up," in theaters on Friday, June 8.
