FOX's Switches 'Band' & 'Lyrics'!

FOX is shaking up its Friday lineup as current occupants "The Next Great American Band" and "Don't Forget the Lyrics!" will trade time periods beginning next week (December 7).

"Lyrics," which will slide to 8:00/7:00c, has built off its "Band" lead-in each week since joining the night earlier this month, making the move not much of a surprise.

Advance listings also indicate "Lyrics" won't be using first-run episodes on Fridays going forward as the network will instead opt for encores of its summer installments.

The switch however will be short lived - "Band" wraps its season on December 21 while "Bones" and repeats of "House" will take over the night beginning January 4.
