Former "Dancing With the Stars" competitor Vivica A. Fox took the lead and booked herself into the LAPD today.
The actress was ordered Monday, Dec. 3 to either be booked or face a bench warrant for DUI charges stemming from a March speeding incident, reports TMZ.com.
Fox went into the station around 12:15 p.m. and was "very congenial" as she got processed. According to documents, the 43-year-old actress was listed as 5'8" and weighing 115 lbs.
On the night of March 20, Fox was on suspicion of driving under the influence. She was tooling along Los Angeles' 101 Freeway in her 2007 Cadillac Escalade when she was clocked going about 80 mph past a marked police car.
Although a field sobriety test was administered, the actress was unable to perform and was placed under arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence. At the Van Nuys jail, her breathalyzer test read over the .08 blood-alcohol limit for California. She was then cited, released on her own recognizance and will appear again in court later.
Fox was voted off the fourth week after participating in the third season of "Dancing With the Stars." She's also appeared on "Alias," "1-800-Missing" and "All of Us." Her films include "Soul Food," "Two Can Play That Game," "Kill Bill, Vol. 1" and "Ella Enchanted."
