FOX Remembers to Renew 'Lyrics'!

Its ratings may not be setting Thursday nights on fire, but "Don't Forget the Lyrics!" doesn't require a script, so FOX wants more of it.

FOX has ordered up an addition 13 episodes of "Don't Forget the Lyrics!," which shouldn't come as much of a surprise given that the most stable part of the network's revamped spring schedule was a Thursday featuring "Lyrics" and "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader."

The Wayne Brady-hosted series aires at 9 p.m. ET on Thursdays with encores on Fridays at 8 p.m. at least until the network's January Friday schedule kicks in.

The show asks contestants to identify missing lyrics to 10 songs to win a million dollars.

After averaging more than eight million viewers per week in the summer, "Don't Forget the Lyrics!" has slipped to 6.8 million against stronger fall competition.

Take Care,

Sal
