'Scrubs' Star Welcomes Baby Girl!

John C. McGinley, whose character on "Scrubs" became a father again last season, has had that experience in real life.

The actor and his wife Nichole Kessler became the proud parents of a baby girl on Saturday, Feb. 2, reports People.

The daughter, Billie Grace, was born in a birthing tub at the couple's Malibu home. She weighs 8 lbs. and is 21 inches long.

"Nichole was a mountain lion, a warrior in the birthing process," says McGinley. "The birth was astonishing. Mom and baby girl are 100 percent. Billie is a mini Nichole. Thank God."

"We are all happy and healthy at home and enjoying these precious first moments of life together," adds the new mother.

McGinley already has a 10-year-old son, Max, from a previous marriage.

McGinley met Kessler, a yoga instructor and birthing doula, when Max approached her on the beach. The couple wed in April 2007 in a private ceremony at his Malibu home.
