O.C. Hottie Gets Desperate!

Desperate Housewives has tapped onetime O.C. jock Chris Carmack for a multi-episode arc, sources confirm to me exclusively.

Carmack will play Susan's studly cousin Tim, who shows up on Wisteria Lane to pay his older cuz a visit and gets roped into helping Mike with his taxes. If the character sounds familiar, it's probably because I mentioned him in this week's Ask Ausiello.

Housewives is also casting a teenaged version of Tim, who'll be seen in a '90s flashback. Tim apparently witnessed a tragic event, presumably involving Susan…. and Howie Mandel…. and a series of Radio Shack ads.

I kid.
