A pair of familiar faces will play the potential in-laws-from-hell in the CBS comedy pilot "Worst Week."

According to the industry trade papers, Kurtwood Smith and Nancy Lenehan will co-star in the comedy pilot "Worst Week," an Americanized version of the BBC's "The Worst Week of My Life."

"Worst Week" stars Kyle Bornheimer as Sam, a man having a pretty bad week that includes a vacation with his fiance's (Erinn Hayes) parents (Smith and Lenehan).

Smith is most familiar as "Red" Forman on FOX's long-running "That '70s Show," though the prolific character actor has also been seen in features like "Rambo 3," "Under Siege 2" and "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country." Last development season he appeared in FOX's pilot "Supreme Courtships."

Lenehan is a TV regular whose credits run the gammut from "Alice" to "Seinfeld" to "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" to a regular gig on "Married to the Kellys" and a recurring turn on "My Name Is Earl."

In other pilot casting news, David Smith will co-star in Sci Fi Channel's "Revolution." That two-hour pilot focuses on colonists at a remote outpost in the 22nd century.

Take care,

Sal
