He is a former amateur motorcycle driver, who's love for life permeates despite his injury. He is funny, sexy, energetic and surprisingly intuitive as he interacts with nurse Denise Sherwood, played by Catherine Bell. His directness forces her to look at herself, bringing her character forward.
