Mission Impossible

Hey guys. Im your Host again, Sal. And this time, we have a little contribution coming from one of my fellow co-hosts. Ratings, Ratings....as usual. The show posted a 7.6/11. Which in human-terms means, around 11.7 Million viewers. This CBS sitcom is actually doing better than most sitcoms out there. Being on its second season, and the star of the show (Julia Louis Dreyfus) getting an emmy award this year has brought up alot of buzz. The ratings are high as usual, and the show is an all-together amusing thing to watch.

This episode we take a look at the relationship between the mother and her son, and I felt bad for Christine. Her son, desperatly wants to go to her dads house. And the remarks her brother was giving added to the comedic effect. Watching how 'Little' Richard was acting around his dad and around his mom was funny. The fact that he considers his dad's place 'The Fun house' and his moms place 'The homework house'. I mean, which kid on their right state of mind would want to be in the 'homework' house?!

Matthew, being on the phone for hours. Days even. With the internet company was so funny, mainly because I can relate to it. I hate how these companies keep you waiting for hours until one of their customer services employees picks up the phone. I usually keep the phone on speaker and go on doing my usual house chores, and when i get back the phone is STILL on hold! So it was nice seeing the writers poke fun at that.

Here is where me and my co-host (Shai) disagrees. At the end of the episode, Richard (the dad) tells Christine that even though 'Little' Richard loves to spent time with his dad on the weekends. He considers Christine's (the mom) house as 'Home'. Which I think was a cool message that was sent from the dad. Shai on the other hand thinks that it was a cheap shot, and that even though the kid refers to his mother's house as 'home' doesnt mean that he likes it more. She also thinks that it isnt shown from 'Little' Richard. But I dont know. I thought the message at the end was cool.

Ok so the overall review on this episode. It poked fun at bad-parenting skills which is always amusing. It didnt include Wanda Sykes' character, which was a bummer. I find her the most amusing on the show. Episode 8 had her in it, and that was even more fun to watch.
