TV Hot Spot: The Knights Of Prosperity
The Knights Of Prosperity 1x03: Operation: Fighting Shape

Hey everyone. This week has been hard on ABC, announcing the cancellation of some of its shows as well as some picks ups. Its always painful to watch when a network is struggeling with its other shows while having hit shows such as "Desperate Housewives", "Ugly Betty" and more! It seems that this network has a mixed type of viewers, it is very hard for them to launch a successful show even though they mass-promote it! So lets start with this series, one which has been struggeling with the ratings but is delivering decent storylines to viewers. The series has premiered with 7.3 Million Viewers, and then fell to 5.3 Million Viewers.
This episode, which is the third of the season, has fallen to 3.9 Million Viewers. With the competition of "American Idol" against it, as well as the harsh world of TV, this series doesn't seem like its going to survive a full season. It would be a miracle to see that ratings push up and to be honest, its a shame. As the episodes go by and we take a more detailed look into the lives of these 'knights' we see that they are just a bunch of nice people trying to make a living. Of course this includes robbing a megastar but still, its like robin hood! Steal from the rich and give to the poor...Of course in these days thats called theft and will include some jail time! (lol)
Ok so in this episode we see the 'knights' going at it again, after finding out that stealing from Mick Jagger isn't an easy job they decide to get into more detail and get a thumbprint (which they get), and a key (which they got in the last episode) and learn some self-defence moves (which they did) in order to get the job done. Also in this episode we see that Eugene has a thing for Esperansa. A little love connection which he simply cant get out of his head. Poor guy. And it turns out that she is looking for a new life and not a new guy. So it seems that Eugene might not get his dream girl after all!
Final thoughts on the episode, it was funny as usual and is a good addition for the mid-season schedule. It is sad though that the show is getting a massive dip in the ratings, but that might be because of "American Idol" or the fact that viewers in the USA don't like it very much. So thank you all for reading, and I hope that the ABC network gives us word on this series future, because it doesn't look good...
Take Care
