NBC rode a strong "Deal or No Deal" and "Heroes" to an overall ratings win Monday, while FOX grabbed the adults 18-49 title.
For the night, NBC averaged a 7.8 rating/12 share, narrowly beating FOX, 7.3/11, and CBS, 7.1/11. ABC took fourth with a 5.1/8. The CW was well back of the pack, finishing with a 1.8/3.
FOX grabbed the top spot among adults 18-49 with a 4.8 rating, edging out NBC's 4.6. CBS, 3.2, came in third, followed closely by ABC at 3.1. The CW trailed at 1.1.
"Deal or No Deal," 10.4/16, easily won the 8 p.m. hour for NBC and was the night's most-watched show. FOX finished second with "Prison Break," 6.0/9. ABC's "Wife Swap" was third at 5.5/8, beating reruns of "How I Met Your Mother" and "The Class" on CBS. The CW averaged 1.8/3 with "Everybody Hates Chris" and "All of Us."
FOX and NBC were nearly deadlocked at 9 p.m., with "24," 8.5/12, edging out "Heroes," 8.3/12 (NBC won the 18-49 battle). CBS moved up to third with repeats of "Two and a Half Men," 8.2/12, and "Old Christine," 6.8/10. "Supernanny" delivered a 5.8/9 for ABC, while The CW went with "Girlfriends" and "The Game."
A "CSI: Miami" rerun, 9.1/15, gave CBS the lead at 10 p.m. "Studio 60" posted a 4.8/7 for NBC, which was good enough to beat the 4.0/6 for "What About Brian" on ABC.
