Alright. Now its CBS's turn to turn up the heat. It looks like they are introducing a little family show of their own. Although this takes place with a family outside the borders of the USA. "Cane" is a new series that will be joining the 10 pm hour on Tuesdays after CBS's other show "The Unit" which is coming back this Fall. A description and a trailer follows below. When I first watched it I have to say that it looked interesting, but Tuesdays this fall is a very competitive night, so nobody knows whether this new show will survive or not. Enjoy!

This soapy drama tells the story of two multi-generational Latin American families, the Duques and the Samuels in the rum and sugar business. This series explores the rivalry between the two families as well as the power struggles within the individual families.

Cynthia Cidre wrote the pilot and will executive produce alongside Jonathan Prince, Polly Anthony, and Jimmy Iovine.
