TV Hot Spot: STRIKE!

Friday Night Lights...Might Come Back?

Post by: Sal

Source: E! Online

Executive Producer Jason Katims Says: "We all really want to get back to work. Everybody does, but on this particular show, Friday Night Lights, it’s a passion for a lot of us who do it, it’s a labor of love, so we all want to come back to work to finish the season and tell the stories that we are dying to tell."

What We're Hearing: Peacock sources tell us it is not likely FNL will produce more episodes for the current season. However, with a huge fan campaign building to save this quality series (stand by for more deets!), anything is possible. Go Panthers!

Take Care,

Sal

I LOVE this show. It's one of the best on TV!!

What are the higher ups thinking?? What would a Friday Night be without FNL???

Please don't "punt" this show away. Stand firm and "block" the competitors. Go Panthers!!!!

Hi Dee,

I don't watch the show myself but I do know that this show has a solid fanbase that will stop at nothing. Having the strike interrupt the second season is very unfair and I hope the fans get what they want and deserve =)

I am never home on friday nights but I never leave home without making sure my tivo is set to tape this wonderful show. I have never missed an episode and its the only show I can say that about. The characters and storylines are realistic and moving and I would be heartbroken if it was to end.
Also its the only show my dad and I bond over. We talk about the
storylines and different characters and he's told me he wants a Panthers cap for his birthday. That says alot about the show to me because my dad is really a news man. Anyways I love this show and I hope it sticks around for a long time. Does anyone know where I can get a Dillon Panthers cap?

Just thinking about the fact that FNL might not be back gives me great anguish. The stories were left untold this season and we are left to wonder what might have been or what could have been. Please don't let NBC and Ben Silverman turn the lights off on this great show. I donated to the cause!!!! Now it's off to send lightbulbs to Ben Silverman.
