The CW Network has set its new midseason schedule, featuring brand new episodes of its scripted series and several strategic moves to bolster new nights and new time periods.

New episodes of freshman sensation GOSSIP GIRL return to The CW schedule beginning Monday, April 21 (8:00-9:00p.m. ET). On April 7, ONE TREE HILL moves to its new night and time on Mondays (9:00-10:00p.m. ET), following GOSSIP GIRL and creating a powerful night of drama for The CW.

With ONE TREE HILL moving to Mondays in April, the climactic final original episodes of PUSSYCAT DOLLS PRESENTS: GIRLICIOUS will air on Wednesdays starting April 9 (9:00-10:00p.m. ET), following AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL.

Through the month of March, original episodes of The CW's REAPER will follow all-new episodes of SMALLVILLE. On March 25, REAPER returns to Tuesdays (9:00-10:00p.m. ET) following the newest edition of The CW's hit reality series BEAUTY AND THE GEEK, which premieres March 11 (8:00-9:00p.m. ET).

SUPERNATURAL returns to The CW's Thursday line-up (9:00-10:00p.m. ET) on April 3.

"One Tree Hill" may have skipped over the college years, but at least the show will continue its odd experiment into the next season.

The CW announced Monday (March 3) early pickups for "One Tree Hill" and five of the network's other popular series for the fall.

"One Tree Hill" will return for its sixth season, while the reality hit "America's Next Top Model" will gear up for its 11th and 12th cycles.

Other renewed dramas include "Smallville" back for its eighth go, "Supernatural," which will celebrate its fourth season and "Gossip Girl" coming back for her sophomore year of backstabbing and social treachery.

The lone comedy of the lot, "Everybody Hates Chris," also gets to return in its fourth season.

"Gossip Girl," "Top Model" and "One Tree Hill" boast the top ranking for female viewers 18-34.

CW Returns With Original Episodes!

The CW may be saying goodbye to "Girlfriends", "WWE SmackDown!" and "CW Now," but several of its shows will return with all-new episodes now that the Writers' Strike has ended.

The networks announced Friday, Feb. 15 that six of its shows will once again go into production in order to air new episodes this spring, while two other shows already have episodes in the can.

"The Game" will return in late March with the most episodes, while "One Tree Hill," "Smallville," "Gossip Girl," "Reaper" and "Supernatural" will poke up their heads in April.

"Everybody Hates Chris" shot and completed episodes early, so its remaining 12 original ones will begin airing March 3. Similarly, its fellow sitcom "Aliens in America" has eight original episodes done that will air March 2-23 and April 27-18.

The CW already has some fresh material on the horizon. "Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious" debuts on Monday, Feb. 18, and two days later on the Wednesday the 20th, the tenth cycle of "America's Next Top Model" premieres. In addition, the next wave of social experimenters will return with "Beauty and the Geek" on Tuesday, March 11.
