Nick orders 4 comedy pilots

Nickelodeon has handed out pilot orders to four live-action projects and picked up additional episodes of its comedy series "Just Jordan."

The projects receiving pilot pickups are the action-comedy "The Troop," the comedies "The Norton Avenue All-Stars" and "True Fashion" and the boy-band comedy "One 4 All."

"Troop," described as "Ghostbusters" meets "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," revolves around kids who protect the world from supernatural creatures. "All-Stars" is a comedy about a group of neighborhood best friends that's described as "The Little Rascals" meets puberty. "True Fashion" is described as "Project Runway" meets "Big."

The kids cable network said all four could get series orders if they are good enough.

Meanwhile, it has picked up seven additional episodes of TEENick's "Jordan," bringing the second-season total to 20. "Jordan," which stars Lil' JJ as a transplant from Little Rock, Ark., to Los Angeles who splits his time between school and waiting tables at his grandpa's diner, is moving to a new day and time -- 8:30 p.m. Saturdays -- beginning November 3.
