Laila Ali to Coach Teen 'Body'

Laila Ali might not have won "Dancing With the Stars," but she'll still get to demonstrate her physical prowess on TV.
The boxer/reality TV star will team up with Viacom and Reveille to host "The N's Student Body," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"Body" is a nonscripted show that will pit two sets of teens from rival high schools against each other to see which can achieve the best physical and psychological transformation. Ali will host as well as coach the teens who are trying to "lose weight, face their fears and compete for their dreams."
The network, which will split from Nickelodeon's Noggin to become its own 24-hour channel, has ordered eight episodes of the hourlong show.
In other The N news, the network ahs also greenlit "The Assistants," a scripted project centering on four college grads who try to break into the Hollywood industry machine. The scripts for all 13 episodes were done before the strike. The show will likely air in the summer.
Ali, 29, is the daughter of Muhammad Ali. She was a finalist on the fourth season of "Dancing With the Stars" with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy and recenly wed NFL star Curtis Conway.
