FOX Checks Into 'The Inn'!

FOX has ordered a pilot for "The Inn," starring Niecy Nash.

The network actually gave a put pilot commitment to "The Inn" back in late October, but the formal pilot order is only coming now.

"The Inn" is produced through 20th Century Fox TV/Reveille/Principato-Young and according to The Hollywood Reporter, it's an "Upstairs/Downstairs"-style (or a comedy) look at a hip New York hotel.

Abraham Higginbotham, a veteran of "Arrested Development," wrote the pilot and will executive produce.

The only cast member attached is Nash.

Nash is best known as Deputy Raineesha Williams from the "Reno 911!" TV series and the "Reno 911!: Miami" feature film. She can currently be heard in the hit animated film "Horton Hears a Who," while her other credits include "Malibu's Most Wanted," "Guess Who" and "Code Name: The Cleaner."
