Meet the 'Farmer Wants a Wife' Hopefuls!

Is a Playboy cybergirl or accountant the best wife material for a soybean farmer?

The CW announced the 10 city women who will vie for the affections of a third-generation farmer on the reality series "Farmer Wants a Wife," premiering on The CW on Wednesday, April 30 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

The already established hit show travels to Missouri to find Matt, 29, a wife who he can have and hold in sickness and in health, in plowing time and harvest time. He puts the 10 women through their paces to see who can adjust to his country lifestyle, whether it's driving a tractor, caring for livestock, sewing quilts or attending bingo night -- all while trying to win his heart on various rural and romantic dates.

Matt, the bucolic bachelor, currently lives in Portage Des Sioux, Missouri. Among his super sexy main crops are corn, wheat and the always popular edamame, err, soybeans. He graduated with a BS in agricultural technology from the University of Central Missouri. And although our Prince Farming didn't list "long walks on the beach," he's sure to win the heart of his city gal with his other hobbies: archery, deer hunting, boating, camping, fishing, anything outdoors and anything for a charity.
