Desperate Housewives 3x11: No Fits, No Fights, No Feuds

Hello everyone. Our second reveiw today and one of many that will be published. Well what can I say about my general thoughts on this particular episode, it was one filled with shockers. I don't remember the last episode I watched where my jaw dropped numerous times...in ONE episode (lol). But this one sure did the job. "Desperate Housewives" is still on their 3rd season, and still going strong with the ratings. Other shows which have been launched with it at the time are now slowly beginning to fade in the limelight. Not to mention any names but I believe all of us could see a couple of shows which have already been given the axe.

The latest episode of "Desperate Housewives" saw a bit of a fall from previous episodes, no doubt this is due from the hiatus and the fact that the ABC newtork was doing horribly over the winter break. The episode managed to get around 18.6 Million Viewers which to be honest, in series' terms is a hit. But in "Desperate Housewives" terms, is not. The series' previous episodes usually scored above the 20 Million Mark, but sadly this episode didn't manage that. Its a shame obviously, because many have said (including me) that the episode was a great one. Hopefully by next Sunday, the series will get back up in the ratings and win another Sunday Night! Ok so now for a detailed storyline description of each housewife.

First, Gabrielle. My favourite housewife of the bunch is still experiencing the effects of a divorce. Was it just me or did Bill sound a bit boring? I think the writers wanted us to feel how WRONG someone can get in dating. Its possible for anyone to get a bad date and this time, poor Gabrielle finds out that being single isn't all its cracked up to be. She first accuses Carlos of sending her flowers, which he didn't send and says that he is still in love with her. In the end of the episode, we find out that they both feel for eachother still...but they both agreed to move on. Gabrielle then realises that she has to do it all over again, sharing secrets, getting to know someone else, introducing herself to another guy. It hits her in this episode, and you notice that. I felt sorry for her in a way, but the writers show you that she is strong enough to do it...Only question is...Who sent her those flowers?!

Second, Lynette. Tom wanted her to bond with Kayla, and obviously before even seeing the two interact we know its not going to be easy. From the moment they see eachother until the end, it is a non-stop war. Lynette first believed that she should treat Kayla in a more special way just because of her situation. But Kayla takes advantage of that and Lynette begins to get annoyed. Tom then tells Lynette that since Kayla lives in their house now, Lynette should treat her the same way she treats all her children which is exactly what happens. Kayla learns the hard way that Lynette is in charge. We viewers know that Lynette is in control, its her character and why many viewers love her. So when she takes control of a situation like this one, it makes you smile. What we are left with here...How will the two interact with eachother from now on?

Third, Susan. In this episode Susan learns the hard way to keep her promise. If you remember, in the last episode Ian tells Susan to never see Mike again and in return Ian will get Mike the best lawyer in town. Well...Susan being the way she is, goes and visits Mike. The visit turns into a heart-warming one where Mike confesses that throughout this whole time Susan was the one who was there for him. All those Mike-Susan supporters must be screaming at the television when Susan finally walks away for the very last time. Of course, knowing the writers of this show, that is not all! Susan calls the detective, who is on Mike's case and tells him that Orson knows Monique, and that he lied the whole time. She also tells him that Orson was in a mental institute a while back. And in the end, during a dinner date with Bree, the detective interrupts and takes Orson in. Ian finds out that Susan went to visit Mike and Bree tells Susan that their friendship is over...

Before going into a conclusion I have the last housewife to talk about, Bree. At the beginning of the episode Bree finds out that Alma is alive. Finally the writers let us see what really happened between Orson & Alma, and that she wasn't murdered like everyone thought. Bree finally relaxes when she sees her alive and comes to the conclusion that her husband isn't a killer. And to make everyone see that she was right, she invites everyone to a surprise dinner and introduces Alma. But while Bree is enjoying her dinner, the police come in and take Orson away. And like I said earlier, she tells Susan that their friendship is over. The thing the writers leave us with is...What was Alma injecting herself with?

FINALLY. The last paragraph. I will leave this with questions. Julie finally gave herself to Austin, but why is Danielle sleeping with him too? Mike is in jail, what will happen now that he saw Paul Young in the same jail as him? (By the way that shocker was one of the best of all!) And WHY are they moving Alma into the same street? Thats suicide! I guess we just have to wait and see...Many thought that the story of Alma would be the whole story of the season, but now that we saw she is alive...I guess there is more in store...
